Kimokeo Kapahulehua, founder of Kimokeo Foundation, invites you to join him on a legacy journey to preserve and perpetuate Hawai‘i’s unique culture, its language, people and environment for the benefit of Maui’s people and generations yet to come.

The wa‘a or canoe, has always been a major part of Kimokeo’s life and for good reason.  Physically, it embodies elements of the land and sea.  Spiritually, it bridges our present realm with that of our ancestors and the voyages that they have taken to place us where we are today and guide us on our future paths.  Socially, it requires all paddlers to work together to reach a common goal.

With Kimokeo Kapahulehua as our ho‘okele (navigator) and the kino (body) of the wa‘a as Kimokeo Foundation, we are ready to embark on an unprecedented voyage together, one island at a time, from program to program.

Come aboard our wa‘a (canoe) as a founding member of Kimokeo Foundation as we paddle together to reach program goals set forth by a Hawaiian man who has the vision, drive, dedication, inspiration and most importantly, the aloha (love), to make these goals a reality.
